This cartoon specifically depicts people who get pregnant before finishing school. The cartoonist is implying that a lot of kids, these days, are having babies and must figure out a way to finish school with them. Whether it be take them with them to school or find someone to watch them while they go, or the worst of all stop going to school to take care of your baby. That seems horrible to stop going to school to take care of your baby but sometimes it is the only choice (this is what affects me the most).

This graph displays the teenage pregnancy rates per year, (starting in year 2000) in hundred of thousands.
The information given makes me think that teenage pregnancy is out of control and it is not getting any better. Especially, in the years 2002 and 2005, the amount of pregnancies were more than double of a normal year and were way out of control with no limitations. This graph shows me that there is a huge problem with the awareness of how not to become pregnant and what the preventions are.
The data provided is lacking to include more years. If they would have involved more years, lets say from like 1950 or so, it would have better enabled the viewer to tell if this is a normal thing or when to problem occurred.
